With the help of the Climate Calculator, offices can estimate their carbon dioxide emissions and find out how they might reduce them. The Climate Calculator helps offices to understand the relationship between their own activities and climate change.

Energy conservation is the most efficient and cost-effective way to reduce emissions. In order to combat climate change, it is also important to promote energy generated with renewable natural resources. Carbon dioxide emissions are also reduced by avoiding air travel.

WWF Finland has developed the Climate Calculator in collaboration with Dipoli – the Lifelong Learning Institute at the Helsinki University of Technology – and Motiva Oy. With the Climate Calculator, it is possible to offset CO2 emissions via the Finnish company, Nordic Offset Oy.

Consumer-Habit Questionnaire

The Consumer-Habit Questionnaire is a questionnaire intended for employees in the offices concerned that measures their level of eco-friendliness and how this develops.

There are 17 questions in the questionnaire, and around five minutes are needed to answer them. By answering the questionnaire, you get tips on how you may help the environment while at work.
